Our Services

At Zen Behavioral Health, care is personalized to you.

We provide thoughtful psychiatric evaluations, individualized medication management, and flexible follow-up options designed to support your mental health goals at every stage of treatment.

Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluations

A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is the first step toward understanding your mental health and developing a treatment plan that fits your individual needs. During your initial appointment, Dr. Pszenitzki takes time to learn about your current concerns, symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, lifestyle, and personal goals. Together, you will explore factors that may be contributing to your symptoms and discuss diagnostic considerations and treatment options. The goal is to provide a thoughtful, thorough evaluation while creating a comfortable environment where you feel heard and understood. Your initial evaluation must be completed in-person and are typically scheduled for one hour.

Medication Management

Medication can be an important part of treatment for many mental health conditions, but finding the right medication and approach is highly individualized. Dr. Pszenitzki provides thoughtful medication management focused on understanding your symptoms, treatment goals, previous experiences with medications, and overall health. Treatment decisions are made collaboratively, with an emphasis on evidence-based recommendations, education about options and potential side effects, and ongoing monitoring to ensure your treatment remains appropriate and effective. Medication management appointments are typically scheduled for 30 minutes.

Telepsychiatry

For established patients who may benefit from the convenience of virtual care, telepsychiatry may be available when clinically appropriate. Virtual follow-up appointments can provide greater flexibility while maintaining continuity of care and meaningful connection with your psychiatrist. Telepsychiatry availability is determined on an individual basis and may depend on your clinical needs and treatment plan. Initial psychiatric evaluations are conducted in person.
