About Dr. Pszenitzki
Dr. Pszenitzki is a board-eligible psychiatrist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care in a welcoming and collaborative environment. She believes meaningful psychiatric care begins with listening and strives to create a space where every patient feels heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment.
Dr. Pszenitzki earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, followed by her Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed her psychiatry residency at LewisGale Medical Center, where she received comprehensive training in the evaluation and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions.
Although her medical training took her outside of Tennessee, Tennessee has always felt like home. Dr. Pszenitzki grew up in Cookeville, and her husband was raised in the Sumner County area. Together, they are excited to establish roots in the community and for her to provide psychiatric care to the individuals and families who call Middle Tennessee home. Dr. Pszenitzki will begin seeing patients in both Hendersonville, TN and Cookeville, TN on September 28, 2026.
Dr. Pszenitzki’s approach to treatment is thoughtful, individualized, and grounded in the latest evidence-based practices. She recognizes that seeking psychiatric care can feel overwhelming, whether it is a patient’s first time reaching out or they have been in treatment before.
She takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, experiences, and goals and works collaboratively with them to develop an individualized treatment plan. She believes that effective psychiatric care is not one-size-fits-all and that patients should feel informed and empowered to participate in decisions about their treatment.
At Zen Behavioral Health, patients can expect care that is compassionate, personalized, and never rushed. Dr. Pszenitzki strives to build strong therapeutic relationships based on trust, open communication, and mutual respect while helping patients better understand their mental health and navigate life’s challenges.
Dr. Pszenitzki is licensed to practice medicine in Tennessee and Virginia, and is proud to serve the Middle Tennessee community.
She looks forward to partnering with her patients as they work toward improved mental health and a healthier, more fulfilling life.
